Situated at the southernmost point of Georgina, Keswick is the largest community and set for much further expansion as it is where the new highway 404 extension ends. Originally a cottage and farm community, Keswick has gone through many changes over the years. There are several large subdivisions of newer homes such as 'Simcoe Landing', 'Keswick by the Lake' and 'Cedarwoods' that have sprung up making this an ideal 'bedroom community' for GTA north.

Historic Lakeshore Communities
These communities located between Keswick and Sutton, consist of Orchard Beach, Balfour Beach, Roches Point, Eastbourne, Island Grove, Crescent Beach, Willow Beach & Mossington Point. In days gone by, there were many parcels of lakefront land bought by families as cottage estates which stayed in those families for many years. The Eastbourne community was once a farm of 200 acres sold and used as cottages bought by people of means. The hub of the community, the members only Eastbourne Golf Club was designed by a pro from Toronto's Rosedale Golf club and has been a draw for many a golf champion. "Eastbourne Estates" is a new area of fine homes within this sought-after location.
